We were thrilled this year to help bring Burkie Bear back as the mascot for Burke Mountain Resort in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Burkie Bear is vintage, retro, and oh so cool.
We wanted to maintain his old school cool but also update him for all the non-skiing powder hounds. So Sam made a few sketches:

We also put him on snowshoes and on a mountain bike – hopefully those designs become a reality in the future!
